FAQ - In Case You’re Wondering
What to Expect with Your Roof Project.
We believe a good roof starts with clear expectations. Here are answers to the questions most homeowners ask, so you know
what to expect before, during, and after your roof replacement.
When will my roof get done?
Once your paperwork is signed, we’ll give you a general idea of the timeline. Work is scheduled in the order it comes in, with
some flexibility for weather or material delays. You’ll be notified when planning starts and again when a tentative date is set.
Do I need to be home during the project?
Not unless you prefer to be. We just ask that you’re reachable by phone or text in case something needs your input. All we need
is access to an outdoor electrical outlet.
Is there anything I should do to prepare?
• Mow the lawn if possible (it helps us clean up nails).
• Pick up pet waste.
• Move vehicles and fragile items out of the driveway or garage.
• Let us know if you have special items or areas you’d like us to protect.
How long will it take?
Most residential roofs are completed in 1–2 days. Larger or more complex projects may take longer, but we’ll keep you informed
throughout.
What about cleanup and property protection?
We treat your home like our own. We use tarps and plywood to protect landscaping, and clean up thoroughly each day with
magnetic sweeps for nails.
What if unexpected damage is discovered during the project?
If we uncover hidden issues like rotten decking, we’ll stop, take photos, and walk you through it. We won’t move forward without
your approval.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Every full residential roof replacement comes with our Lifetime Workmanship Warranty — as long as you own your home. If
there’s ever a workmanship issue, we’ll inspect and fix it at no cost. That’s our word. (See full warranty for details.)
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We’re fully licensed and insured to perform roofing work in Wisconsin. We’ll gladly provide proof if requested.
Satellite Dish/Directv Dish
When tearing off the roof, the dish is removed to tear off the material underneath it. We will put the dish back into the same
holes that we took it out of. However, this is not guarantee that the dish will be properly lined up. You will want to contact your
provider to have them come out to re-adjust your dish once we leave.
